A day before departure I went to snap some photos to one of the favourite Hong Kong’s spotters places with a great overview of Chek Lap Kok (HKG).

My flight is there… somewhere.

Unfortunately Hong Kong area was hit by a typhoon and flights got delayed quite a bit. This was just an estimate. Our final departure time was at 1:27 HKT.

Very bumpy departure took us over China and after after some 3 hours finally transitioned into a smooth flight. Some half way on the route we overflew Siberia.
