Bombardier’s CSeries test aircraft has arrived at London to undergo validation for operation at London City airport (LCY).
CS100 launch customer Swiss plans to operate flights to London City Airport (LCY) and for that the company needs a steep-approach approval. Bombardier expected to get one by the end of 2016, but it was pushed back. On 21st March, Bombardier’s second test aircraft (FTV-2), a CS100 variant registered as C-GWYD landed at London-Stansted (STN), flying from Montreal.
Today the aircraft performed its first landing at the London City Airport (LCY) followed by ground operations validation.
