Finnair retires A340

Finnair conducted its last revenue flight on A340-300 from Tokyo-Narita (NRT) to Helsinki-Vantaa (HEL) on January 31. The flight AY74 was operated on the company’s OH-LQE aircraft.
Finnair is replacing its fleet of A340-300s with A350-900 models. The company already received seven airplanes and will get nineteen in total by the end of 2023.
Finnair has operated seven A340-300s over the past eleven years of which three are destined to be scrapped and four (including OH-LQE) are destined for start-up Air Belgium reports ch-aviation.
