On April 25 Iberia launched its flights from Madrid to San Francisco, the only nonstop service between Spain and the Californian city.

The airline will offer three weekly flights until September 28. In total, Iberia will offer 39,000 seats on this route during the four months of operation of this first season. Iberia now has two flights from Madrid to California, IB6171 to Los Angeles and IB6175 to San Francisco, and this is Iberia┬┤s sixth destination in the continental USA.

In addition, it will be possible to combine flights to San Francisco and back from Los Angeles, and vice versa, on the same ticket, which will allow more flexibility to customers when planning their trips.
