Widerøe continues to grow in the face of pandemic and starts up two new direct routes from Bergen.
Embraer and Widerøe, Scandinavia’s largest regional airline, celebrated the delivery of the manufacturer’s first production E190-E2 on April 4, at Embraer’s facility in São José dos Campos.
On February 28 Embraer received Type Certificate for the E190-E2, the first member of the E-Jets E2 family of commercial aircraft, from the Brazilian Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC), the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) and EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency).
In just six months, the first E-Jet E2 will be delivered to the first customer. In April 2018, an E190-E2 will be handed over to Widerøe of Norway.
